According to a study conducted by Almeido, Draper, Pirkis, Snowdon and Lautenschlager (2012), the results of 360 participants out of 20,036 had shown a mixture of anxiety and Depression. Additionally, they found that the participants with no "social support system" had increased "odds" of depression and anxiety (Almeido et al., 2012).
